Purpose and Private Ownership

This is a private reference site, not an official public office. It does not hold government authority, store official custody files, or speak for Mason County Detention Center, Kentucky Department of Corrections, a court, or another agency. Staff cannot confirm custody, order or carry out a release, submit a court filing, or change a government record.

The site organizes links and explanatory material about Mason County inmate and jail record resources. Some search functions connect visitors with tools operated by outside research providers. A link or connection does not turn an outside result into a record created or verified by this site.

Acceptable Use Rules

Use must remain lawful, respectful, and consistent with these terms. You agree that you will not:

• Use the site while violating any applicable law or regulation
• Use information to stalk, harass, intimidate, or threaten another person
• Rely on site information for hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions
• Attempt to enter accounts, systems, or restricted areas without authorization
• Operate bots, crawlers, scrapers, or automated collection tools against the site
• Interfere with site operation, security, capacity, or access by other visitors

No Consumer Reports or Screening

Mason County Released Inmates is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It supplies no consumer reports, credit reports, or background checks. Neither the site nor its advertising partners provides a screening service. You agree not to use site content or linked search results for:

• Decisions to hire, retain, promote, discipline, or dismiss a worker
• Tenant selection, rental approval, or another housing decision
• Creditworthiness, lending terms, or insurance rates and eligibility
• Licensing, permits, benefits, or government-program eligibility
• Any other decision regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act

Outside Services Have Separate Terms

Links may lead to Mason County or Kentucky release records, detention and corrections pages, court portals, federal locators, legal-aid information, and third-party search services. We do not operate those destinations and are not responsible for their content, data practices, prices, results, availability, or security. A link is not an endorsement. Review the destination’s terms and privacy policy before submitting information or paying a charge.

Service Provided Without Warranties

The site, its text, links, and functions are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, no express or implied warranty is made concerning:

• The accuracy, completeness, or current state of any information
• Continuous or uninterrupted access to pages or features
• Freedom from errors, defects, harmful code, or security weaknesses
• The scope, quality, or completeness of a search partner’s results

Custody, release, court, and supervision records can change quickly. Nothing displayed here is an official statement by the Mason County Jailer, a sheriff, Kentucky DOC, a court, or another government agency. Verify facts with the office that created the record.

Limits on Liability

To the maximum extent Kentucky law permits, Mason County Released Inmates, its owners, contributors, and service providers are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from access to, inability to use, or reliance on the site, its links, or third-party results. This limit applies regardless of the legal theory asserted and even if the possibility of loss was known.

Your Duty to Indemnify

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Mason County Released Inmates, its owners, contributors, and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, judgments, costs, and reasonable legal fees resulting from your use of the site, your misuse of information, or your violation of these terms or applicable law.

Ownership of Site Materials

Unless another owner is identified, the site’s original text, graphics, logos, arrangement, and code belong to Mason County Released Inmates or its content partners and are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. You may not reproduce, distribute, republish, modify, or create derivative material from protected content without prior written permission. Government records and linked agency material remain subject to their own ownership and access rules.

Revisions Take Effect When Posted

We may change these Terms & Conditions at any time. A revised version takes effect when it is posted here unless the page states otherwise. Continued site use after posting means you accept the updated terms.

Access May Be Withdrawn

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to all or part of the site at any time, for any reason, and without advance notice. That authority includes action taken to address suspected misuse, security concerns, technical needs, or a violation of these terms.

Kentucky Law Governs

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from them or use of the site must be filed in a court with proper jurisdiction in Kentucky.

Remaining Terms Stay Effective

If a court finds one part of these terms invalid or unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. The affected provision will be limited or adjusted only as much as necessary to make it enforceable while preserving its intended purpose.
